Big River Safety and Rescue

Large rivers can present unique risks and hazards to workers and travellers and require unique approaches to safety. This training is always customized to a client’s specific needs and context, but can include cold water physiology, moving water awareness and rescue techniques, boat handling in moving water, first aid for cold water, emergency scene management skills, and mechanical advantage systems for victim and equipment recovery.
